ANDREW PETERS - PART TWO
Andrew’s 30 plus year career started as a radio announcer in rural Australia 4 years after arriving in the country from the UK. By the mid 80’s he was not only a popular DJ but was also host of a national alternative music TV series called Rock Arena. During this period he fronted various TV shows including host of Trax, Simulrock and the Live Aid broadcast. He directed, hosted and co produced a documentary shot in the UK and Italy on INXS, also was host and interviewer for the MTV New York special Australian Made and had guest spots in other music based TV shows.
By the end of the 90’s he left radio and TV as a presenter for a fulltime voice over career. Since then he has worked on many campaigns and is the signature voice of L'Oreal Paris, Network voice of Channel News Asia out of Singapore, Network voice of Triple M Classic Rock and the voice of the first 9 series of Dancing with the Stars.
Other TV series include Good Chef Bad Chef, Everyday Gourmet and The Home Team.
Andrew is also the founder and managing director of Realtime Casting a SAG/AFTRA voice casting business based in Manhattan.
He has also been seen in guest roles in major Australian drama series including Blue Heelers, The Secret Life of Us, Stingers and lead roles in two short movies.
Now a resident of Anglesea, a coastal town SW on Melbourne Australia and works mainly from his full broadcast studio.
Andrew is regarded as a premium voice artist.
